Hey, Dean Martin called and he wants his song back: Dil To Pagal Hai

Movie tag line: "Somewhere, someone is made for you." See what I mean?

Movies about dancers are a good time. I liked this a lot, but I was really, really tired when Abby and I watched thisand I had to go home before it was over. But I had a good hunch how it ended. But I was there for the dance-off! Genius. The review on imdb sums it up well. I rented this because it has SRK in it and when in doubt I go for one of his - though I might not anymore, after Josh.

The first time I saw this movie, I thought to myself "well, that was nice. But not nice enough to buy." Well, I sent it back to the rental place, and then a few weeks later I found myself missing it...big time. So now I own it, and have seen it almost as many times as I have seen Kal Ho Naa Ho and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, which is to say ALOT. This one get better after each viewing. It will never be the greatest, but it's still a pretty great love story. Sit down and finish it some time- you'll be glad you did.
Coincidentally, I did finally watch the rest of this recently - but I hardly remember it! The rain song is fantastic, though. That's the film's standout moment for me. But regardless of what others think, isn't it great to find a new favorite?
