I hope you get to see Listen Amayaa soon (their facebook page says it's releasing in February), and I am confident the Deepti/Farooq pair will live up to expectations, though it's a different kind of love story that's very appropriate for their ages. Loved Do Dooni Chaar - I love anything Neetu Singh does - but I'm not sure why I haven't written about it.Beth Loves Bollywoodhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05540154833326987567noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15977843.post-68572363154762908482013-01-04T13:08:35.403-06:002013-01-04T13:08:35.403-06:00Loved your review. Even if I had not read your review, it was enough for me to know that this movie has Farooque Sheikh and Deepti Naval. Love them both.
Have you seen 'Do Dooni Chaar'? Well said.

karrvakarela - I know nothing about plans for DVD but maybe ask at the facebook page? I liked that actress too and will keep an eye out for her when I finally watch Tanu.Beth Loves Bollywoodhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05540154833326987567noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15977843.post-78825858769061179212012-10-06T08:10:54.462-05:002012-10-06T08:10:54.462-05:00Thanks for writing about "Listen Amaya"....Thanks for writing about "Listen Amaya". I will be sure to look out for it on DVD. Farooque Shaikh was always stellar. The young lady playing Amaya is a terrific actress. Funny and edgy, she almost stole the show from Kangana Ranaut in "Tanu Weds Manu".karrvakarelahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11564711886357771427noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15977843.post-58556219660051572792012-10-04T19:58:54.911-05:002012-10-04T19:58:54.911-05:00Listen Amaya is treat to watch movie. Two acting institutes Deepti Naval and Farooque Sheikh reinforce that movies do not have to have item no.s and songs and formulas to make a way to heart. It is how the story telling is done. After I watched this movie, I was wondering why is that we watch such garbage and we can not spend 10$s for such class movie? Kudos and thanks to entire team of Listen Amaya. It was a great surprise to know that the producer's father in law invested money in this.
My sincere request to everyone, make this movie commercially hit so that we get to see more n more of this. Or else we will keep on watching..Jagrutihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04569920570854826487noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15977843.post-78464200139025890022012-10-04T15:55:47.513-05:002012-10-04T15:55:47.513-05:00Oh Listen Amaya sounds wonderful, I'm equally ...Oh Listen Amaya sounds wonderful, I'm equally a sucker for dad-and-daughter tales, and love the idea of middle-aged people finding love...will this movie get a wider release? I can assure you, it means loads to the innumerable people who have put in more man hours than we could ever possibly pay for, to help tell our simple story and project it onto 70mm celluloid! As I mentioned earlier, you should have simply grabbed me and I would have happily played wish fulfiller for the hug for Farouque saab! :) I will now be stalking your blog every so often... so stay sane!
Avinash Kumar Singhnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15977843.post-30498743653595347732012-10-04T01:34:30.427-05:002012-10-04T01:34:30.427-05:00Thanks for the detailed review. This is probably the first time I am commenting on your blog, so just wanted to let you know, how amazing it has been, to read your wonderful reviews and articles...more so because I share your "hug fantasy" for Farooq Shaikh ;) ;) I have never been so smitten by any Bolly actor as I have been by Farooq saab..its such a pity that we have seen so little of him on screen..and I almost wish I could rewind back to the 90s and watch his serials :P

Anyway..before this comment turns into a long winded Farooq-eulogy, I would draw the line here. Thanks again for the Amaya review..I can't wait to watch it!Sharmishthahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00022588402864080791noreply@blogger.com
